Sean M. Dwyer, M.D., F.A.C.C. Received his medical degree from Georgetown University and completed his residency at St. Vincent’s Medical Center.He completed his cardiology training at Georgetown University Medical Center.His areas of expertise include clinical cardiology, echocardiography, coronary angiography, and pacemaker implantation and internal medicine.He is also a consultant to the Federal Aviation Administration.
Joseph A. Vassallo, M.D., F.A.C.C. earned his medical degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo and completed his residency at the New England Medical Center at Tufts University.He completed his cardiology training at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.His areas of expertise include clinical cardiology, arrhythmia evaluation, and internal medicine.
Barry S. Talesnick, M.D.,F.A.C.C. received his degree from New York Medical College and completed his residency training at the Washington Hospital Center.He completed his cardiology training at the University of Maryland Hospital.He is also a licensed pharmacist and board certified in nuclear medicine.His areas of expertise include clinical cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and internal medicine.
Harris M Kenner, M.D., F.A.C.C. graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He was a fellow in Internal Medicine at the Mayo Clinic and completed his cardiology training at the New England Center Hospital.His areas of expertise include clinical cardiology and noninvasive testing.
Morton Kavalier, M.D. F.A.C.C. received his medical degree at Jefferson Medical College.He did his internal medicine internship and residency at the University of Michigan University Hospital and a fellowship in cardiology at the Indiana University Medical Center.He is an associate clinical professor of medicine and cardiology at George Washington University Medical School and Georgetown University.His areas of expertise are clinical cardiology, noninvasive testing and internal medicine.
Miriam Fishman, M.D. F.A.C.C. is a DC area native who is happy to be the most recent new addition to Cardiology & Internal Medicine PA. She attended Yale as an undergraduate and then moved to New York City for medical school at New York University followed by residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She returned to DC for her cardiology fellowship at George Washington University and is thrilled to be back home. She is particularly interested in prevention and women’s cardiovascular health.
Grace Fitzpatrick, CRNP, graduated from the University of Maryland with a masters degree in nursing. She is a family nurse practitioner, and has worked with all ages in a primary care office in Columbia, Maryland, and prior to that worked for many years as a cardiac and intensive care unit nurse at Sibley Memorial hospital. Her clinical interests include preventative health care, internal medicine, health education, and chronic disease management.
